The final concept I developed was inspired by an article I read about British schools taking analog clocks down in schools due to students struggling to tell time with them during exams. I thought this was an interesting sub-problem to address.

The research process for this project was the first time I realized how much I love (and how important it is) to enter the physical environment of the demographic I'm researching. In this case, it was the children's museums. Putting myself in their shoes drove me to design more honestly and engage with my inner child. It also showed me that class project or not, reading the news and pinpointing real-world issues lead to projects that are fulfilling to me, because I feel like I'm truly making an impact.
